A really sensible policy on fanfic
May 5th, 2010 at 1:05pm

Charles Stross (Scots SF author of renown) has just posted his "official" policy on fanfic. I just wish everyone else was so reasonable (see especially the blog he links to for a VERY anti-fanfic author)

While I admit to never having heard of him - my son probably has, especially if there's an RPG with his name on it, I applaud his very sensible attitude - do not mess with the dragon's gold for he is avaricious and you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

Those who say it can't be done should get out of the way of those who are doing it.
