But it was a great ride. Those who say it can't be done should get out of the way of those who are doing it. WWW IP Logged

Then again, I am a technophile, and am rather fond of Jor-El. Then again, it is Marcus' story, and who am I to begrudge him that? It is a great story, regardless. Can I save this in my personal collection of fanfic I've collected? IP Logged

But I've submitted it to the archive last night, you might want to wait for that since it'll be a single file. I went with totally destroying the Jor-El AI because it can't be trusted - for the purposes of this story even the original AI was trying to manipulate Clark when Jason was conceived, the backup manufactured after Luthor stole that is even less reliable. And OK, yes, I wrote it that way because I wanted to end with a nice big explosion, but why not? Marcus L. Rowland&&Forgotten Futures: The Scientific Romance Role Playing Game WWW IP Logged

It's just me looking at the story through nostalgia-goggles, I fully admit. IP Logged

Using Times New Roman as the font, it comes out to 99 pages at size 12, 88 pages at size 11! That's one hearty story! IP Logged

There was originally going to be even more, but I decided to cut the scene where Ziva and Abby take down the Joker while Kara is busy doing something else, Gibbs teaching Kara about boatbuilding, Kara (in the short-lived Karen persona) experimenting with Goth makeup, and so forth. Well, you could always write those as a semi-sequel, little side-ficlets in sort of a "Deleted Scenes" series of stories, like the special features of many DVD's. IP Logged
