D*mn, Lois is right on top of things, isn't she?
One would hope. They have a lot of loose ends to tie up, and I don't imagine that she takes that lightly.

I loved the way Sam debriefed Lt.Daniels. I rather imagine Lt. Daniels will soon become one of Sam's inner circle till Sam retires.
They're still in different branches, assigned in different locations. Though the lieutenant probably now has a strong advocate in Lt. Gen. Sam Lane.

Loved the line about the back child support.
He's got to live up to his responsibilities, after all...

I loved the bit about the yellow marked sections of the newspaper. Also enjoyed seeing him protective of his daughter.
Sam may not be good at articulating to Lois how proud he is or how much he loves her, but they show up in the little things: The highlighted byline or bragging her up with his colleagues.
Thanks everyone for the feedback.
