HA! I try to feel bad for Richard, I do! But it's so easy not to.. WWW IP Logged

And I loved it. I love the way you've set up the transportation portal thing and I wonder when Richard is going to wonder just 'how' much time Lois spends with Superman, LOL. I'm glad he's still in the story but I hope he finds out the 'truth' soon. Thank you for this wonderful ficcie! WWW IP Logged

Well, it won't drag out the conflict with Richard too long, but note that time moves much slower in the Family Reunion universe than it does here: Over the past six months, barely nine days have passed in the FR Universe. I promise I won't drag that out any longer than absolutely necessary. Bellarata wrote on Jan 5th, 2009 at 4:32am:Thank you for this wonderful ficcie! Thank you for the wonderful compliment. It will show up on the other sites when I post this chapter there Thursday (1/15/2009). Just a couple reminders to everyone who’s been following the story: First, Richard’s a good man trying his best to deal with an extraordinary situation that he doesn’t have all the facts on. His arguments with Lois don’t make him any less the good man presented in the Superman Returns film. It’s simply a side-effect of the upheaval in their personal relationship and not even a saint would hold his tongue when confronted with all of that. Second, time doesn’t move very fast in the Family Reunion universe. Remember, it’s still only the sixth day since the paternity revelation, and that hasn’t left a lot of time to consider life changing decisions. Such decisions require at lot of time and attention, and weighing the pros and cons before doing something impulsive that could dramatically affect other people around you. It wouldn’t be fair to anyone to rush that, and our principals here aren’t. The relationship issues may not be moving as quickly there as some would like, but as I said, time doesn’t move very fast in this universe. WWW YIM IP Logged

And I do agree that Richard is a good man in an unenviable situation. However, I DO want L&C back together, and not just as writing partners. (Sorry, Richard...) IP Logged

I think most people missed that, and a lot them were wondering why the Lois/Richard situation was dragging out so long. Many have presented strong arguments for and against that being the OTP in the Superman universes. I have my preference, but I'll try not to be too biased by it and stay true to the characters.
