oh how sad!! Clark's dead. I love how awesome you always write Richard, I don't like it when he's written as a jackass. So... how will Clark get to come back... looking forward to finding out!

Richard is an interesting character - the writers for SR obviously meant him to be very much like Clark but nobody really sees the similarity because of the externals - Clark was quiet, clumsy, hated flying and didn't like horror/slasher films and Richard was the opposite. But the basic character is still much the same, competent, patient, trustworthy, unselfish, even heroic.

I just can't see him as a bad guy.

*bursts into tears* Clark died! It was only fair, though..his body couldn't take it, and it was a big thing to do messing with the whole time space continuum and all. *cries some more* Wonderful chapter, as usual Smiley

Jeebus, with all the talk of time paradoxes and stuff I've yammered on about over at the Daily Planet site, and *I* didn't even catch that!
Here I was thinking, "Geez, Shado/Dandello/Librarian killed him off!", and I missed that Clark was still returning...

D'OH!!!!!

Very nicely done.  Future Clark has died in the service of humanity. But present Clark has not arrived yet.  And Lois has all of her memories back. And remembers that she is love with him.
