Your Perry is sooo great - the paper comes first and he obviously thinks Richard (and Lois) are being childish and he has no problem with baby-sitting Jason and Kara (but I bet he'll deny everything if anyone at the office finds out.)  Smiley

Things are really coming to a head between Lois and Richard- I wonder what will happen between them eventually. I'm really enjoying the crime/mystery aspects of this story, very nicely done and cohesive with the SR storyline. I loved Lois' inner monologue about a possible future with Clark- nice throwing in of the word fangirl, there Wink

That's our Perry - crusty on the outside, but soft in the middle.  Somehow, I'm able to channel him...

Great update.  I love the continuing tensions between Clark/Lois/Richard.   I think it is very smart to have Lois still be pissed off at both men.  They are both making decisions that she should have input in.   I also like how you have made Richard more threatened by the way Lois & Clark connect on a mental level than about the fact that Clark is Jason's real father.

As for the other characters, your Perry is excellent.  You really manage to nail that character.   I like Kara being kind of clingy to the new family.  I'd really like to see what she thinks of Jason & Lois.

Anyway, this story is wonderful and I can't wait to read the next part.
